- The entire body, including the doors and deck lids, are reinforced with an engineered steel structure. Wherever anything is installed, it is bolted through steel. Click here for details.
- Do you have inner paneled doors and deck lids?
- Yes, fully detailed original appearance and reinforced with steel.
- Are the doors and deck lids furnished with handles?
- Yes, the inner door and window handles, as well as the rear window handle, are installed. The outer door handles and trunk handle are options.
- Are the window regulators included and installd?
- Yes, the standard original type. The rubber channels with stell backing and adjusters are also installed. Electric regulators are optional.
- What, if any, window glass is included and installed?
- Glass cutting templates and instructions are included with our body so any glass shop can easily furnish glass and install if required. We also install glass in our bodies.
- Are interior window moldings included?
- Yes, installed with chrome screws.
- Is a windshield frame included:
- Yes, a modern windshield mounting kit is included.
- Does the trunk deck lid have a drain?
- Yes, the stock type drip rail is installed. The lower portion has drain tubes installed.
- Is the windshield header panel included?
- Yes, installed.
- What type of hinges are used on doors and deck lids?
- The standard hinges are forged steel with hardened pins. Hidden door hinges are also available.
- Is the dash board included and does it have a working glove box?
- The smooth dash is standard. Three optional dashes include the fuzzy glove box, hinges, latch, and door (with inner panel & knob). Steel is molded into the bottom lip of all dashes and bolted to the main framework. Steering can be mounted easily without any additional fabrication.
- Does the body have a full and detailed floor?
- Yes, with frame mounting holes drilled through the steel reinforcement.
- Are upholstery tack strips included and installed?
- Yes, including package tray. The kiln dried wood is epoxyed in place.
- Do you sell radiator shells? If not, where can they be obtained?
- We sell the "Valley" '33 grill with polished or brushed teeth.
- Do you sell hoods? If not, where can they be obtained?
- We sell a variety of hoods, manufactured by Rootlieb.
- Do you have any assembly instructions or any other help for a rookie to build a nice car?
- We supply finishing and fitting instructions with all our products, as well as glass installation instructions. Additional assistance is as close as the phone or email. We are always glad to help.
- Are there any late model chassis and suspension systems that would produce good results?
- We fell it is best to use the reproduction chassis which are available from several good suppliers. We are dealers for several manufacturers, including TCI and The Rod Factory.
- Do you have any suggestion for an air conditioning system that would fit, but would not cause too much distraction?
- We recommend air conditioning by "Vintage Air" in San Antonio, Texas. We are their dealers.
